Position Overview

Drip is hiring an Executive Assistant to act as a force multiplier to our CEO. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company (startup a plus!). You are incredibly sharp, self-motivated, detail-oriented and a constant learner. You excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a commitment to excellence. You are able to connect masterfully across multiple levels of the organization, including with the Board of Directors and beyond our walls. You are deeply relationship driven, able to anticipate needs, prioritize urgencies, and exhibit a uniquely high EQ. And, you have a great sense of humor, you’re flexible, and have a humble confidence to boot!

Key Characteristics & Responsibilities

  • Exceptional communication skills. As a talented writer and articulate speaker, you are able to convey complex ideas and communicate with crisp clarity, confidence, and humble authority. You are an absolute professional with consideration for the right tone for any audience or situation.
  • Master of logistics with an eye for detail and a flair for creativity. You are comfortable managing meeting agendas, gathering critical information, and have impeccable follow-up. You never drop the ball on calendar management, email correspondence, travel, or logistics. You have an aesthetic eye and can create outstanding slide-decks from concepts and ideas.
  • Preemptive approach. You have an ability to anticipate needs before they arise and a knack for “seeing around corners”. You ensure meetings are scheduled with extreme thought and attendees are prepared and ready to make meetings both efficient and successful.
  • Sparkle and prioritization. You are fun-loving and exude warmth and hospitality with everyone you encounter. You have a crystal clear understanding of John’s top priorities and how those drive company performance and culture. Although you act as the initial filter on time and attention in order to ensure John’s focus remains on task (read “gatekeeper”), you’re able to do it with cheerful eloquence.
  • Utmost discretion and urgency. You have an extreme sense of integrity and maintain total confidentiality, both internally and externally. You are able to use time wisely and execute priorities with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Comfortable in your own skin and constantly learning. You have a natural curiosity for how things work and always looking to grow your core skills and broader knowledge base. You are comfortable voicing concerns, giving and receiving direct, actionable feedback and asking for help when you need it.

Who we are:

Leadpages+Drip was thrilled to make #297 on the 2017 Inc. 5000 list (we were #3 in Minnesota) and to be named a Star Tribune Top Workplace for the past three years in a row! To learn more about the teams that have helped us achieve these honors, we invite you to visit our Instagram, Facebook and About pages

Drip is a small product team inside Leadpages, working on a separate marketing automation application that is aptly named "Drip". Working with us gives you the best of both worlds: the intimacy, influence, and speed of a small development team, but all the perks of a well-funded parent company (stable, health insurance, stock options, 401(k), etc.)

Both of Drip’s founders are developers, and everyone on the team has a technical bent. As such, we are a developer-focused team that's a haven for expanding your technical chops.

We place a high emphasis on code quality, test coverage, and UI/UX. We spend a lot of time making Drip look gorgeous both inside and out.

We consider working for a successful early-stage tech company to be a lifestyle choice rather than a job choice. You will work hard and face exciting challenges, but our positions come with amazing advantages and fulfillment to those who earn them. If you bring your best self to the table, here’s what we’ll bring in return:

  • Competitive pay, benefits, and generous equity
  • A flexible schedule and opportunities to work from home
  • A gorgeous, bright office, conveniently located in Downtown Minneapolis
  • A fully-stocked snack bar and drink fridge to keep you fueled
  • Relocation reimbursement, as needed. Please note that for any positions that are not designated as remote, residence in or relocation to Minnesota is required
  • The chance to learn from some of the best people in the business, including our fiercely compassionate leadership team
  • Career development isn’t just idle chit-chat but a tangible outcome of our robust People & Culture function. In 2016, we were overjoyed to give promotions to 27% of our stellar employees
  • Challenging and meaningful problems to solve - you will invariably make a difference and impact
  • A vibrant and devoted team, who still finds time for fun
  • Finally, no politics and no jerks

At Leadpages+Drip, we strive to create an inclusive workplace that upholds the dignity of all people. We value, respect, and celebrate everyone’s individualities and honor their unique strengths from all different walks of life. We believe that embracing the diversity of thought and perspective encourages collaboration that leads to product (and people!) innovation, diverse products and a successful business.

We won’t be able to individually respond to all applicants, but if we feel you’re a strong match, someone will be in touch within 5 business days. Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you!
